Milo Vanila



MILO VANILA
(Source - LizCookies)

Ingredients
*200g butter
*150g brown sugar
*2 tbsp condensed milk
*1 tsp vanilla essence
*2 egg yolk
*150g milo
*125g flour
*100g custard flour
*130g corn flour

Method
*Cream butter, sugar & milk.
*Add in egg yolks and vanilla essence
*Add in all other dry ingredients. Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with cookie cutter of your choice.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - Optional
*Put choc chip on center of cookie before baking.

Notes
*Cookie will expand (tremendously!)
*Crunchy biscuit. First bite may be considered hard!
*Makes about 100 pcs.

*Tho i don't quite like Milo, i somehow find this cookie very addictive. Perhaps its extra crispy and crumbly texture makes it challenging to munch..

Cinnamon Drop




CINNAMON DROP
(Recipe from Mak Lang RN - Chocolate Oat Crisp)

Ingredients
*200g butter
*120g brown sugar
*1/2 tsp vanilla essence
*90g instant oat
*130g flour
*20g cocoa powder
*50g corn flour
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
*1/4 tsp salt

Method
*Cream butter & sugar
*Add in vanilla essence
*Sift all flours & powders together.
*Add in all other dry ingredients. Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with 'tear-drop' shape cookie cutter.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Spread egg white onto cookie.
*Sprinkle some nib almond

Notes
*Crunchy biscuit.
*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Dough is soft, almost similar to 'drop method' cookie.
*Recipe (& name) may have been modified to suit my taste.

Irish Cookies




IRISH COOKIES
(Recipe from Kak Baya RN)

Ingredients
*180g butter
*20g shortening
*130g castor sugar
*1 egg yolk
*1 tsp nescafe (instant coffee)
*1 tsp coffee essence
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*200g flour
*100g tapioca flour
*40g nestum (crush a lil bit - I use mixer)

Method
*Cream butter, shortening & sugar
*Add in egg yolk & coffee essence
*Add in nescafe & nestum
*Add in dry ingredients (sifted). Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with cookie cutter of your choice.
*Deco - optional
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Spread egg white onto cookie.
*Put some flaked almond & chocolate rice.

Notes
*Cookie will expand when baked.
*Crunchy biscuit.

*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Nestum must be crushed so that dough is smooth & easier/prettier to cut.

*While others may have rated this as superb & out of this world cookie, the most i can give is 3 stars.. I don't know, perhaps i've done wrong somewhere..

Triangle Love

TRIANGLE LOVE
(Recipe from Yusnina & Mak Lang RN - My Heart Cookie)

Ingredients
*240g butter
*180g castor sugar
*2 egg yolk
*2 tbsp cocoa powder
*1 tsp baking powder
*300g flour
*200g corn flour
*2 tsp rice flour
*100g nib almond

Method
*Cream butter & sugar
*Add in egg yolk & vanilla essence
*Add in nib almond
*Add in dry ingredients (sifted). Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut cookie with triangle heart shape cookie cutter.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Put love shape sugar sprinkle on the center of cookie before baking.

Notes
*Cookie will expand when baked.
*Crunchy biscuit.
*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Nestum must be crushed so that dough is smooth & easier/prettier to cut.
