With a touch of cinnamon, the aroma lingers in your mouth. Very exquisite taste!

This cookie was introduced last year. On 2nd place after Almond Slice. 110 bottles were sold last year. With choc chip, almond and cornflakes combined into one recipe, it has to be good!.

Cookies in Black

Stick Cookies

STICK COOKIES
(Source - Harlina RN)
Ingredients
* 250g butter
* 50g caster sugar
* 300g all purpose flour
* 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
* 1 tsp vanilla essence
* 100g ground almond
* 1 tbsp corn flour

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in egg, egg yolk & vanilla essence
* Add in flours and ground almond.
* Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
* Cut dough with cutter of your choice (bigger size).
* Dip the tip of stick in egg white. Then, insert it in shaped cookies.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.
* Let the cookies to cool completely before decorating.

Ingredients for Deco (Royal Icing)
* 1 egg yolk
* 200g icing sugar
* 1 tsp lemon juice

Method for Royal Icing
* Beat egg white until soft peak.
* Add in sugar & lemon.
* Beat on high speed until stiff peak.
* Now you can start to add colours & deco.

Chocolate Hearts






CHOCOLATE HEARTS
(Source - Ummi Afrina RN: Chocolate Tarts)

Ingredients
* 250g butter/margerine
* 180g icing sugar
* 450g flour (more or less)
* 3 egg yolk
* 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in egg yolk & vanilla essence
* Add in flours up to 350g at first, increase gradually until
the dough does not stick to touch.
* Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
* Cut dough with heart shaped tart cutter.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.

Deco
* Melt chocolate using double boil method.
* Pipe onto cookie (cool cookies completely before piping).

Notes
* Makes about 75 pcs.

Choc-Tipped Cookies



CHOC-TIPPED COOKIES

Ingredients
* 4 oz butter
* 3 tbsp icing sugar
* 5 oz all purpose flour
* 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in flour & vanilla essence
* Spoon mixture into pastry bagi fitted with a large star nozzle.
* Pipe 4 - 5 inch lines onto baking tray.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.
* Let cookies to cool completely before decorating.

Decoration
* Melt chocolate - double boil method / microwave
* Dip one one of each cookie into melted chocolate.
* Sprinkle sugar deco & let it set.

Sweet Tart Mawi




SWEET TART MAWI

Ingredients
* 250g butter
* 70g caster sugar
* 350g flour
* 50g corn flour
* 1 egg yolk
* 1 tsp vanilla essence
* Pineapple jam (ready made)

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in egg yolk & vanilla essence
* Add in flours. Mix well.
* Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
* Cut dough with 5cm floral cookie cutter. Then put it
into small tart shell.
* Put pineapple jam on it.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.

Notes
* If you prefer soft cookies, bake for 14 minutes.
* Do not overcook, jam will harden.
* Makes about 80 pcs.

Pandan Classic



PANDAN CLASSIC
(Source - Zubaidah Orix - Pandan Classic Cocoa Crunch)

Ingredients
* 1 1/2 cup butter
* 1 cup icing sugar
* 3 cups corn flour
* 1 cup flour
* 2 egg yolk
* 1 tbs vanilla essence
* a pinch of salt
* 1 tsp pandan paste
* 1 tsp apple green coloring

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in eggs, vanilla essence, pandan paste & colour.
* Add in all other ingredients. Mix well.
* Roll & cut with cutter or pipe with floral nozzle.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.

Nestum Delight




NESTUM DELIGHT

Ingredients
* 250g butter
* 150g caster sugar
* 240g self-raising flour
* 2 eggs
* 70g nestum cereal
* 1 tsp baking powder

Method
* Cream butter & sugar
* Add in eggs.
* Add in all other ingredients. Mix well.
* Spoon 1/2 teaspoon batter onto nestum.
* Roll it until well coated with nestum.
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 15 minutes.

Notes
* Do not add more flour.
* You have to quickly work on the dough and bake them.
Cookies will expand nicely.
* Makes about 100 pcs.
* Very light and crispy. Nice aroma (while baking)

Milo Vanila



MILO VANILA

Ingredients
*200g butter
*150g brown sugar
*2 tbsp condensed milk
*1 tsp vanilla essence
*2 egg yolk
*150g milo
*125g flour
*100g custard flour
*130g corn flour

Method
*Cream butter, sugar & milk.
*Add in egg yolks and vanilla essence
*Add in all other dry ingredients. Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with cookie cutter of your choice.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - Optional
*Put choc chip on center of cookie before baking.

Notes
*Cookie will expand (tremendously!)
*Crunchy biscuit. First bite may be considered hard!
*Makes about 100 pcs.

*Tho i don't quite like Milo, i somehow find this cookie very addictive. Perhaps its extra crispy and crumbly texture makes it challenging to munch..

Cinnamon Drop




CINNAMON DROP
(Recipe from Mak Lang RN - Chocolate Oat Crisp)

Ingredients
*200g butter
*120g brown sugar
*1/2 tsp vanilla essence
*90g instant oat
*130g flour
*20g cocoa powder
*50g corn flour
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
*1/4 tsp salt

Method
*Cream butter & sugar
*Add in vanilla essence
*Sift all flours & powders together.
*Add in all other dry ingredients. Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with 'tear-drop' shape cookie cutter.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Spread egg white onto cookie.
*Sprinkle some nib almond

Notes
*Crunchy biscuit.
*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Dough is soft, almost similar to 'drop method' cookie.

Irish Cookies




IRISH COOKIES
(Recipe from Kak Baya RN)

Ingredients
*180g butter
*20g shortening
*130g castor sugar
*1 egg yolk
*1 tsp nescafe (instant coffee)
*1 tsp coffee essence
*1/2 tsp baking powder
*200g flour
*100g tapioca flour
*40g nestum (crush a lil bit - I use mixer)

Method
*Cream butter, shortening & sugar
*Add in egg yolk & coffee essence
*Add in nescafe & nestum
*Add in dry ingredients (sifted). Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut with cookie cutter of your choice.
*Deco - optional
* Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Spread egg white onto cookie.
*Put some flaked almond & chocolate rice.

Notes
*Cookie will expand when baked.
*Crunchy biscuit.

*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Nestum must be crushed so that dough is smooth & easier/prettier to cut.

*While others may have rated this as superb & out of this world cookie, the most i can give is 3 stars.. I don't know, perhaps i've done wrong somewhere..

Triangle Love

TRIANGLE LOVE
(Recipe from Yusnina & Mak Lang RN - My Heart Cookie)

Ingredients
*240g butter
*180g castor sugar
*2 egg yolk
*2 tbsp cocoa powder
*1 tsp baking powder
*300g flour
*200g corn flour
*2 tsp rice flour
*100g nib almond

Method
*Cream butter & sugar
*Add in egg yolk & vanilla essence
*Add in nib almond
*Add in dry ingredients (sifted). Mix well.
*Roll the dough with the rolling pin.
*Cut cookie with triangle heart shape cookie cutter.
*Deco - optional
*Bake in preheated oven at 150C for about 16 minutes.

Deco - optional
*Put love shape sugar sprinkle on the center of cookie before baking.

Notes
*Cookie will expand when baked.
*Crunchy biscuit.
*Makes about 80 pcs.
*Nestum must be crushed so that dough is smooth & easier/prettier to cut.
